A breakfastball is golf slang for a mulligan or do over on the first tee—because nothing fuels our delusional optimism like insisting on a second try before the round even starts. It is traditionally granted at the commencement of early morning rounds (hence the name) and only when everyone pretends it didn’t happen. If you’re just now learning this term… well, let’s just say you’re probably not our target audience.
